The whole experience at Bergrose was fabulous. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the hotel was spotless and was a very relaxing place to hang around as the decor was both neutral and cozy. There was a wide choice of breakfast dates and evening meals were a gastronomic delight. I have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful family owned hotel. It’s in a quiet place with gardens and a stream - the atmosphere was ideal for slowing down and feeling calm and rested. The hotel is only a 15 minute walk from the centre of Strobl and Lake Wolfgangsee. The lake is amazing to walk around and for swimming and other water based activities. It is an easy boat ride to other lakeside villages and a bus ride to Bad Ischl which is worth a visit and to walk out from or take the cable car up to the mountains for walks or simply to admire the views.

While the location is nice and quiet, there is nothing to do in the immediate surroundings and the location is located relatively far from the closest village, which can only be accessed with a car.
The studio was very spacious and nicely equipped, with a nice and complete kitchen. The breakfast was nice, standard hotel breakfast.
Morever, the receptionist was very very nice and helpful, which made the stay more pleasant.

Indoor pools allow you to practice your backstroke come rain or shine, whereas outdoor options allow you to relax on a sun lounger after swimming a few lengths.
Location and the town. Very cosy and very well equipped apartment. Perfect for the family. Close to the center of Bad Ischl, train station and Terma Swimming Pools. Host was very communicative. The presented offer was exactly in line with reality.

Really comfy and large room with a beautiful view. The outlook of the resort is decent and beautiful. Love the facilities with sauna, gym and pool. The breakfast has a large variety of options (yummy sausages, yogurt, smoothie, cakes, nice scrambled eggs, cheeses etc.)

-The waiting staff during breakfast were really accommodating. On my last day the kitchen made me a gluten free avocado sandwich. The bread was phenomenal! One of the best breads I’ve had since being coeliac.
The hotel is small but very cozy with a small swimming pool and spa. Good breakfast, helpful staff. Around area is very good for a short walk around the town, beautiful.
We had our puppy with us and the hotel has cushion for her.
The service was super quality and the staff was friendly. The dinner was reasonably good and the wellness service (swimming pool and sauna) worked well. Breakfast was really great and the bar has great bartender and drinks.
