Everything is really high quality and tasteful, with small details that make it even more enjoyable, lots of space and pretty much everything you could need during a short or long vacation. The beds are comfy, the showers huge, jacuzzi and pool open 24/7 and very cosy roof terraces for sunbathing. The staff - mega friendly and polite, not waiting to be approached for help, but noticing when you are feeling lost and offer assistance. We also had an apartment with a private terrace with lots of plants and fake grass - perfect place for breakfasts.

First ever smart phone hotel we have stayed at extremely clean and very private it was like staying in a private apartment but with staff at the end of the phone for anything you needed, you could send a message and it was responded to immediately. The apartment has everything you need for your holiday. There is a restaurant for evening meals Wednesday to Sunday very small and not much atmosphere but the food was extremely good. Lunch at the pool bar was amazing and the guy who served us each day makes very good cocktails. I would highly recommend this boutique hotel even if your not great with technology there is always somebody about to help you would love to stay again 5 Stars 🌟 Please Bare in mind the hotel is high up but the walk down was not too bad and taxis’s are very cheap

A recently renovated apartment situated in Vega de San Mateo, Casa Azul Mountain Retreat features a garden. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is located 34 km from Parque de Santa Catalina. The communication with hosts was excellent, both before the arrival and during late-night check-in, we got all the necessary guiding for late arrival at night. Everything was OK. This is an excellent location for hiking in the Cruz de Tejeda and surrounding region. There is a good parking place and a bus stop close to the house. We observed that lodging close to the popular spots, like Roque Nublo, is an important advantage, since we were able to reach them and park before the parking place is swamped by cars from more distant places. And to ensure an appropriately early start, even a cock is provided, singing in the morning at just the right time to get ready and to arrive at hiking places before the competition. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with a nice view of the sunrise down the valley. The kitchen & bathroom were spotless, with everything needed. An extra bonus: home-made jams were amazing, as were fresh oranges from the owner's garden. Just one minus: our time there was very short.
