All air-conditioned rooms at Hotel Nyack come with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. Industrial nterior design and architecture are terrific. The staff is very courteous. We had a bite to eat at the bar and the tenders were friendly and informative, too. Atmosphere in the dining area leaves a bit to be desired, as does the food, but there is a great and inviting sitting area with a fireplace. Also, the hotel is across the street from an old cemetery, which is super cool and strangely serene.

The Wednesday social gathering was informal.
