This beachfront property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is located 300 metres from Kaka Point Beach. It was secluded and comfortable. The location was good. It was just a short drive to Kaka Point and the restaurant. The beach was in walking distance. Nugget Point Light was a short drive. Owaka was about 15 minutes away. Tips: If you are arriving late, buy your groceries in Owaka. The grocery store in Kaka Point is not open in the evening and it doesn't open until 12:00 noon the next day. Also, the restaurant in Kaka Point is closed on Sunday and Monday. It does not serve breakfast since it doesn't open till 12:00 noon. There are cafes and restaurants in Owaka that serve breakfast and are open Sunday and Monday.

Located within a 105 year old converted hospital building, the unique Thomas's Catlins Lodge and Camp Ground is located in Owaka. Comfy bed in a great little private suite, everything was amazing. Great communal kitchen facility, game room, lots of dining and lounge sitting options in the sun rooms.
