There's also a good view from the dining/courtyard area. Town is a 15 minute walk away. The owners are super nice and helped us book activities and bus tickets. The rooms are a good size for 2 people and there's two cute dogs running around the property.

He cares so much about the environment, world, animals, culture, ethical tourism and it was kısmet that İ chose his hotel. The restaurant on site was convenient. There are a few small markets nearby and it takes less than 15 minutes to walk into town. There are also bicycles to use and many tuktuk drivers to hitch a ride with. The brilliant part of being outside of the city is the access to nature. My first day I saw 2 rhinos. One sleeping on the riverbank and one directly across from the hotel. The locals will excitedly tell you what's around and walk with you so you can safely see it. Near the hotel are many places to watch over the riverbanks and the small village life around makes it a perfect place to be in Chitwan.

Bishnu is the best for this purpose you can find in the area. He has been in the jungle since his very early years, he knows Chitwan better than I know my neighborhood. Plus he is an excellent manager and tries to do everything for you way and beyond. The food his wife is cooking is the best we ate in Nepal, since it's true home cooking. They are all very attentive to your needs. And we fulfilled the purpose: all kinds of deers, monkeys, birds, crocodile and the close encounter with the rhino! What we also liked is the location. It's the other part of Chitwan, far from the crowds and touts. The facilities are very simple, but it's expected. You have very comfortable beds with mosquito nets and hot water.

Raj takes great care of his guests, from picking them up at the bus station, to offering a free welcome walk, and helping with everything they need. One night, he even drove me to see a rhino that was walking through town! The property is a short walk from town, quiet, and set in a lovely garden. I definitely recommend staying with Raj and his family.

The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated. The restaurant is excellent. The staff is attentive and friendly. The lodge also helps the indigenous people who live in the area.

On a side street just 5 mins walk to Main Street, was a nice quiet spot with little/no traffic passing particularly at night. Room was clean and comfortable, owner booked my bus back to Pokhara and then gave me a lift to the bus station in the morning. I would stay here again.

River Park International Resort is a fantasting place to stay if you are ever in Chitwan. The staff and managers were very hospitable and kind to us. They arranged an amazing bonfire and a traditional Tharu dance for us. We could also observe the wildlife (rhino, elephant, deer) right from our hotel balcony. It was a beautiful experience and I highly recommend it.
