Ananda Guest house is located on the slopes of the Maderas Volcano on Ometepe Island, 19 mi from the port of Moyogalpa. The 5-acre organically managed property runs on a hybrid energy system including solar and grid energy. The location was great, with a fantastic view. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The grounds were stunning. The finishes and decorating were high end. The kitchen and bathroom were beautiful. We will absolutely be coming back.

Finca la Magia is a jungle hostel on a small organic farm located just outside San Ramon, 40 km from Moyogalpa.

Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant, serving breakfasts, snacks, smoothies and meals, all freshly-made made from organic ingredients. Food was amazingly made by Delfa, their nica chef. Who made Vegetarian dishes with farms ingredients and using fire in a typical stove. I totally recommend to have all the meals you can, you’ll love it. We enjoyed a volcano Concepcion tour with a young guide named Josias, who showed us that wonderful landscape. Also the reception helped us to get a scooter for 25usd, a nice way to go around the island. The chef daughter made a surprise birthday cake for my girlfriend, which made us a felt like home. Finca La Magia is the perfect spot for privacy and natural surroundings. No internet coverage but a decent wifi at the restaurant.

The lake is on your doorstep with views of the volcano to your right and a great sunset bar to your left. An island paradise with lovely dogs, chickens, a cat, ducks along with a friendly and helpful owner. Scooter access is 100% okay! There is a restaurant next door but if you want to go to others it’s a close 10min drive. Look no further and stay here!
