This pleasant hotel is located in Santa Elena just 3 blocks from Lake Petén Itza and 3 minutes’ drive from Mundo Maya International Airport. Set in pretty gardens, it offers an outdoor pool, a terrace and free WiFi. We chose this hotel as we wanted to be close to the bus station for an early departure. It was much nicer than we thought it would be. We could walk to the island of Flores and everything else was close by. We didn’t have time to use the pool but it looked impressive. Breakfast was also ok.

The location is very nice, the staff was friendly and there is a travel agency inside that makes it very easy to book basically everything you would like to do in Petén area. Food is good, but a bit expensive. The atmosphere was great and we had a private room which was very good and clean. There is a storage room and a Jacuzzi.
We loved the paradise Peter has created, the meals, the location. Mowgli was especially helpful in getting us around to the ruins and the beach and then back home again.
Beautiful location and easy/fun to access Flores island with a quick boat ride. I loved hiking the ruins just up the hill from the inn, and I saw tropical birds and howler monkeys several times. I didn’t know what I wanted to do here other than Tikal, but Peter and Eric gave me great suggestions and made everything feel easy.
What a great hostel! The rooftop terrace was amazing, close by some cute restaurants where you could rent a kayak and explore the lake. Staff was super kind and helpfull. The hostel had also a dog and cat and they loved some cuddles. Very clean place, clean and nice showers and bathrooms. Warm water and perfect water pressure. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
Such a cute hostel!! Stayed in a 3-bed shared room for 3 nights and had no complaints. The staff was amazing - so friendly and accommodating - made the place feel like home and were able to set me up with tours easily. The facilities were so clean and beds were comfy. Fans/ac at night was a bonus. Plus, the view from the roof were stunning. The little hostel dog was the cutest too. Overall, a very safe, quieter place in a great location - 10/10 would recommend.
We loved the hotel's location. It's absolutely stunning, overlooking lake Peten. The hotel is very pretty, cute and offers privacy. The staff was very friendly, helpful and kind.
Peter and Yolanda are wonderful, as are the dogs and the location. The food is really good as well. Get the pork tamales!!! Also, definitely do the hike to the little beach. I really liked being across the water from Flores as it was a bit hectic on the island.
Good location for bus stops/transfers to Tikal, Belize and other destinations. Lovely view from the balcony overlooking the lake and the sunset. The room was cleaned daily with beds remade, bins emptied and fresh water given. Breakfast was included and had a range of tasty options.
The Hotel has a good location and you can reach everything on Peten by foot. The serve a good breakfast and everything is very clean. The rooms are nice and big and you feel at home. We recommend to stay at the Hotel because its nice, clean and has a very nice view on the lake. Also the pool was clean and nice.
Friendly and helpful staff, good vibe, clean rooms. They quickly responded to our requests and gave us travel tips. The terrace is a cosy place to chill and has a nice view. They have a cute cat and a dog, both accept pets 🙂
