A beautiful property in a great location for exploring the local area. Cliffside House is a large well equipped and beautifully decorated property which suited our whole family and two dogs. The host was very helpful in giving us all the information we needed before we arrived. We'd love to go back. Lots of dog friendly restaurants and long walks nearby.
The property was in a fabulous location right in the centre. It was clean and comfortable and dog friendly which is very important to us as we have an epilepsy service dog and a pet dog.
Lovely cosy accommodation in excellent location in the centre of Matlock. Very stylish with everything you need. Very dog friendly with dog bed, blankets towels etc but never felt “doggy” like some pet friendly places can. Immaculately clean and had a parking space outside. Highly recommended.
Pet friendly hotel with a doggy welcome gift on arrival. The hotel was I a good location for our trip. The swimming pool and spa are excellent.
The location was excellent, easy walk into Buxton with lovely walks in Pavilion Gardens, first trip to Buxton would highly recommend. The self contained apartment was beautiful, well equipped and very dog friendly with bowls treats and a dog bed. The apartment was spacious, warm, really comfy bed, lovely warm welcoming hosts, couldn’t fault it. Also private parking.
The hotel states it's dog friendly on 3 different sites. I spent ages searching for a dog friendly hotel. But when I arrived, the staff knocked on my door and we're angry and rude and said dogs are not welcome. But they are!!! I have proof that the hotel states it is pet friendly.
Wonderful experience here. We made the booking at 2 hours notice due to issues with other plans and the owners welcomed us into a warm and comfortable apartment which has everything we needed. There are some great dog walking places / public footpaths / reservoirs and it's a very dog friendly location. All-in-all, just perfect. Having the owners next door was helpful if we had any questions and £30 for a dog to stay is great value:)
Everything, Angelawas absolutely amazing and made us feel so welcome and at home. She was fantastic with our dog this really was one of the most pet friendly places i have seen. They even had dog treats at the entrance and made him some sausages for breakfast. The room was also lovely and clean as was the whole B&B, the outside seating area was also lovely with loads of space and very quiet.
Great location Pet friendly, however breakfast needs to be taken in the bar area as no dogs allowed in restaurant area Staff at breakfast were really good, fussed our little dog and were cheery and friendly
