A 5-minute drive from Bassenthwaite Lake, Ravenstone Manor is an 19th-century manor house set in 3 hectares of ground. The property is at the foot of Skiddaw, overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. It offers stone walls and en suite bathrooms. Everything. Usually stay in Keswick town but decided on a change and so glad we ended up here. The hotel is decorated in perfect style, quite decadent, lovely snug and lounge area to see the views. Walks close by and Keswick ten minutes away by car. The hotel is dog friendly and there were a lot of dogs. Doesn't matter to me but to anyone not that keen the dogs go in the dining areas as I know friends of mine would not stay there for this reason , but a perfect spot for the many dog lovers. Lovely to lay in bed and have a beautiful view 😊my room was smallish but honestly big enough as really, how big does one need? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Jon and Emma couldn’t have been better hosts. They made us feel at home, gave great advice about travel and sight seeing and the homemade breakfasts each morning were delicious. We loved the beautiful neighborhood-so convenient for travel and walks to the lake, town, and parks.

The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. Some rooms have views of the mountain or garden. All rooms have en-suite facilities with hair dryers and complimentary toiletries. Simon and Lorna are super nice people. They always try to do everything for us. Gave as so many information where to go and how to get there. Every day you could choose your breakfast from their menu and the portions are huge, also there are cereals and other snacks for later. They also were so nice to our dog. Really recommend to go here for your trip 🤩 and the area is stunning!

Laurel Bank Guest House is located in Keswick, in the heart of the Lake District. Free WiFi access is available and each room has its own private, allocated parking space. Keswick town centre is just a mile away and features a variety of places to eat and drink. Sue and Gary are very attentive hosts. They accommodated all of our needs. Gary gave us directions and maps to use for our hiking treks and detailed descriptions of what to anticipate on our journey. Sue provided us with anything we requested for our breakfast and our room. We laughed and had great fun sharing stories. They really made our stay in Keswick extra special. They have private secure parking and are located within walking distance of town. We highly recommend their B and B.

Maple Bank Country Guest House is a detached Edwardian residence set in an acre of gardens. Located in the village of Braithwaite, in the heart of the Lake District National Park, it offers free on-site parking and free WiFi access. Kate, our host was so generous and had thought of every detail in terms of creating one of the our accommodation experiences. Location is perfect, access to walks and a few minutes from Keswick. Our room was very comfortable and there was detailed information for the Lodge and local attractions. We honestly cannot praise Kate enough for her hospitality and excellence in every detail.

We stayed in 6 different locations on a 2 week tour of England and frankly this was the best bed of any place we stayed. The room was so comfortable. Loved our stay in this recently renovated hotel. We hiked in Whinlatter Forest and explored Keswick, The Ruddings was situated perfectly in the middle. The staff were very helpful, food was delicious, and as someone traveling in a car, there was plenty of parking!

With inner courtyard views, this accommodation provides a patio. Outdoor dining is also possible at the apartment. Easy check in. Responsive host. Greeted with delicious gin and fudge on the house. Very clean and comfortable. Would recommend and stay again.
