I went to Zeitlang with my mum for a couple of days to relax and explore the Bavarian Forest. The place is even better looking than in the photos. We also upgraded to a suite, so we had a double bed and a sofa bed (also double), fully equipped kitchen, 2 TVs, a nice balcony. The breakfast buffet was great - everything fresh and staff were very attentive to refill anything immediately. The little spa area was very modern, clean and relaxing. The town Lam itself has a couple of restaurants to choose from - we always went to Roesslwirt across the street, where you could get Bavarian food, as well as more modern food (including veggie options). It's beneficial to have a care when going there, as we took day trips around the area from Lam to see local sights, e.g. the dragon in Furth im Wald, etc. 10/10 recommend this place.

The property is non-smoking and is located 26 km from Regensburg Central Station. The manager Jana was so welcoming on our arrival. She is a credit to the hotel as are the limited other staff we had the pleasure of meeting. Jana arranged for our cycles to be stored safely and showed us to our room which was spotless but the hotel is brand new so expected. Because of this some things were not yet working like the fridge in the room. However we were upgraded to that room and the lack fridge didn't cause any problem. Breakfast was very good, the large breakfast was in fact too much to eat. All fresh fruit and yogurt, croissant and traditional German bread. In all we stayed for 2 days in the middle of a cycle holiday and could not fault the hotel and staff.
