The hotel is quiet, the room was incredible and clean and everything was thought of. the beds were so comfortable. the balcony was incredible to sit on. Breakfast is great, dinner in the hotel restaurant was delicious. I just loved this hotel and can't wait to return.

Do not understand the 3 star rating at all because this is an amazing resort in an amazing location. The view from our room was the Matterhorn which was spectacular to look at everyday. Breakfast was great too. More continental though. Enough to sustain us for morning activities. The staff was absolutely pleasant and polite. Very helpful and polite. Will definitely stay here again.

Carina - Design&Lifestyle hotel is an 8-minute walk from the centre and the Zermatt Train Station, and 230 metres from the Zermatt Funicular. Situated close to the ski lifts in Zermatt, Alpen Resort & Spa features a restaurant, and spacious rooms with cable TV. WiFi in the entire building and transport from Zermatt Train Station from 07:00 o'clock to 21:00 o'clock are both offered for free. There is also an outdoor tennis court on site . Everything was great; from the rooms to the spa, we enjoyed this hotel a lot. It was clean, comfortable and relaxing. The staff was very helpful and friendly, I would especially like to thank everyone at the reception.

The staff is all very welcoming and accommodating. The hotel has a complimentary shuttle and will pick you up from the train station. They have have a luggage storage area and we’re even kind enough to allow me to store my luggage for the night prior to checking in while I stayed at the igloo village on the mountain.
