Dijembe is one of those places, so much charm and has a special energy. Absolutely loved the place and people. The backdrop of trees set in nature with natural wildlife around, we saw monkeys in the nearby trees some mornings. Along with the hospitality of the owners who we loved spending time with, Dijembe is not just a property, it’s an experience ! It was like staying with family Brad,Pam the kids and JR are all absolute diamonds! Fresh pancakes every morning, homemade dinner around open fires at night telling cool stories , the room and bed, super clean and comfortable. Was such an unforgettable stay, super cool place with loads of spacious communal areas that add to the charm, did really fun activities recommended and run by the owners, would highly recommend this place and will stay here again! 10 out of 10! Great communication. Keys were collected from the Canopy Tours office. Very friendly team and Peter was a delight. The house is large and comfortable, 3 bedrooms, great lounge/dining area. Wood supplied for the braai and indoor fireplace. Kitchen had everything we needed and then more! It was a delight to have the washing machine and tumble drier - especially after being on the road for a week! Peter made sure we had everything we needed and was very responsive and helpful! The monkeys even came to greet us!
Perfect location as a base to explore the area around Stormsrivier. Well equipped units. Beautiful gardens and BBQ spaces. Kids and doggies loved the outdoor space. Buying Proteas fresh from the farm was an added bonus.
Loved the location close to all amenities and opposite a forest. The dogs were completely secure in the spacious garden and thoroughly enjoyed their walks.
There is a communal kitchen/eating area. With a fridge and a gas stove and pots and pans available for residents. Breakfast was 👌 and cooked by the lovely staff. Andy the resident cat joined me at my table each morning. 😻 I also enjoyed the segway ride into the forest which is available at a discount to residents.
Good location, on the edge of Stormsriver and minutes walk to all of the village amenities. Fine for one evening if you just need to rest your head. Friendly dogs :)
Location, friendliness of the staff, we felt welcomed from arrival until departure. They go that extra mile to make sure your comfortable. Lovely touch too for Valentine with petals and chocs on the table and Buck’s Fizz.
Friendly and professional staff. Beautiful view. The fact that it is pet friendly maked it so much more relaxed for us, since our doggies could enjoy the stay with us. I will definitely visit again.
Liked the beautiful surroundings & friendly people. The guest manager even took us on a protea educational walk through the protea hothouse. That the place was pet friendly, but despite being pet friendly was extremely neat & the security made me feel safe. Just ❤d our stay
