Location, staff, amenities - everything and everyone there were fantastic! Cabins were well stocked, very comfortable and clean. The sound of the river was so nice to enjoy. We absolutely loved our time there - it was the best place we stayed while in Alaska by far, and in my opinion, also the best in Talkeetna!

Trisha picked us up from railway station, short guided of guided tour of town before taking us to accomodation. Trapper Johns cabin spacious, comfortable warm. Record player, VHS player, a blast from the past! Loved we could get eggs from the chookhouse, that we enjoyed for breakfast next morning! Could easily have stayed a week or more. Sorry we did not get to meet Rocket.
