It’s a pet-friendly hotel and the room came with a refrigerator, oven, and some utensils. The decor looks to have been refreshed recently and was pleasant enough.
While there isn’t much around the hotel, a grocery store and several restaurants are about 5 minutes by car or 15 by foot. If you’re visiting Santa Clara University, it’s right across the street.
Thank you Santa Clara Marriott for making our time there so special. We drove in for the Taylor Swift concert and Marriott thought of everything from the dj by the pool to the red carpet to the bracelet making. The communication leading up to the event was exceptional! I received emails telling me where to exit, when we could check in, when they expected traffic detours to start, etc. Marriott really made it special for a mom & daughter trip!
Cleanliness of room obvious with no carpeting, no draperies, shutters on windows. Very minimalist but pleasing decor.
Owner was very friendly, accommodating and remembered us on our 2nd visit a week later. Location was fine. In spite of Santa Clara address, motel is very close to the airport. Comfortable, clean and very reasonably priced.

Very nice rooms which looked like freshly renovated. The best thing is there no carpets or curtains, so no extra dust, dirt or microorganisms. Big thumbs up for this!

The breakfast was good but not that many choices. The first breakfast had more choices than the second day. There were dog treats by the front door which my dogs liked. It was very dog friendly. There were friendly staff to help you out.
Great Location. Walking distance to numerous restaurants and to the Guadalupe River trail if you want to go for a walk/run or if you’re traveling with a dog.
