There was a bit of cereal in the lobby, but because our host said that breakfast would be put out around 9:00 we just ate our own breakfast because we wanted to be on the road by then. I believe our host was doing their best but the hotel was understaffed.

The host was very friendly and helpful. Glad to hear the new owner is coming regularly to remodel. Price, check in and out process, dog friendly, and location were good. Restaurant across the intersection for breakfast was convenient and good. The night sky was AMAZING!

My room was huge - it was practically 2 rooms with a bathroom in between. I was traveling with my 2 fur babies on our way to see the Badlands. This was the only pet-friendly hotel in town. The guy at the front desk was very kind, and so were his 3 dogs that I met. The room was definitely no frills, but exceeded my expectations for a town like this. There was an ice machine in the lobby, which was a nice add for my water bottles. :-)

I loved how spacious the rooms were, the friendliness of the staff, and the location. Not much to do down the road but close proximity to Badlands National Park. Though the rooms weren't fancy, they were equipped with everything needed and were an overall good value for the price. There were always dogs around to pet, which was a HUGE added bonus.
