we booked three rooms, there are all super big. our rooms were located on the first floor, but dont have too much noise around. (only one of room, the room next to us probably turned on TV the entire night, so we can hear sounds entire night, but was not too bad)
The uniqueness of the property was really fun. Had a nice room. Also there was a room where President John F. Kennedy had visited that was available as a sitting room and I really liked that experience. Hotel is located high up on a hill where the view was very nice.
We had a king suite, and it was HUGE! Nice walk-in shower. The furnishings in the room and throughout the "castle" were a lot of fun. We liked the location near the Mohawk Valley Gateway Overlook bridge - make sure to visit this bridge! There are several dining options within 2 blocks of the "castle," although we had other plans and did not try any of them.
Unique facility and decor. Staff is very friendly. Room was super clean and amenities in it were great ( plush towels, 2 sinks, comfy chairs, etc). Would have preferred a 2nd floor room, but they put us on the 1st floor looking at the parking lot because we had a service dog with us.
Great location with laundromat attached and convenience store and food very close. We stayed while cycling the Empire trail and could keep our bikes in the room.
