The hotel's a very stylish, modern-looking building, and while I was a bit concerned about its distance on the map from the city's main attractions (the various canyons and natural vistas), it turned out not to be that far at all, and at less than half the price of the more touristy hotels to the east. The staff were very friendly and its proximity to the central market/bus station was very convenient.

We stayed at Charivne Ozero (Чарівне озеро) for one night on our way to Lviv. Wonderful hotel complex on the shore of the quiet lake with beautiful views. Recommendations for the dinner are attached - we spent around $50 for both of us including "Саперави" wine, which was too dry.. Everything else was great. Room was clean and had mosquito nets on the windows. Breakfast was tasty Highly recommended, 5-stars!
