Daniel and Lindah were great hosts, very kind and accommodating! The property is very secure, and is in a great area, very close to Mbezi beach, and not too far from the city. We traveled to many places throughout Dar while staying here. This home is a very comfortable 2 bedroom, with a nice living room and kitchen. Was very convenient to have a washing machine. Loved the nice area to sit outside and secure place to park our car. It is a quiet and friendly location to be.

I was very satisfied by this place, first for being around 15 minutes from the airport, and second because it's a clean, comfortable and organised house, very convenient for staying in between flights. Selina is a very nice host, very welcoming and chatty. She made me feel welcome and at home since I arrived, and as I was waiting for the taxi to leave, at 2 AM, she kept me company while we were chatting - this was very kind of her and heartwarming! This is a place I really recommend to anyone who'd like to stay close to the airport and in a safe, clean and comfortable home!

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Totara and even extended by a few days. The room was very clean, the bed was huge, lots of hot water, aircon, fan, super fast WiFi, and massive TV with Netflix, YouTube, Google Fire TV. The staff were amazing - courteous and kind - and the breakfast buffet delicious. It is a short 5 minute walk to the ocean and Slipway Complex in one direction, and the other direction are restaurants and bars like the famous Samaki Samaki. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I have stayed at Lark Hotel many times, and it is a highly recommended place to rest in Dar es Salaam. The location is perfect for exploring the city, and the facilities are very new, clean, and the staff is very helpful. The rooms are very spacious, and breakfast is included and amazing. Me and my friend stayed at for 1 night as we had to take an International flight early in the morning. The staff took care of us very well, extremely friendly- especially Hashid (?) who woke up early to say goodbye. Food in the restaurant is very tasty and airport transfer is included. Very recommended!
