SCAM. Pictures were from another house and breakfast was from her leftovers! Really not worth it at all. Old creepy house, we really thought out leaving before staying, we would never come back.

The location is perfect. In the middle of a small valley, far from towns and villages.
It is quiet, relaxing, comfortable, very well kept.
The whole precinct is very nice, with pool, sheep grazing below, and cats playing around.
The room has all amenities, well equipped kitchen, well furnished.
The bathroom is nice and spotless. The fireplace is very pleasant, specially on a cold rainy day.
I reached the place walking, it's a 10 km easy walk, no problem unless one has mobility issues.
Two kilometers uphill the quinta is village Trinta which has bakery, pharmacy, and a small village shop with the sweetest granny that has ever sold cheese to You.
Overall, the area feels very authentic, I very much enjoyed walking through the countryside and the villages.

The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the dinner. It was truly exceptional, surpassing the quality of many home-cooked meals. It was perfect! A beautiful little house, clean, comfortable, with all the amenities necessary and beyond. The owners were very hospitable providing us with everything we needed. They welcomed us with wine, cheese and jam and every day we received abundance of food and drinks for breakfast. They even baked us some homemade cakes.
We loved it so much we decided to stay for longer and we are definitely coming back on our next trip to Portugal.

Very spacious, bright and renovated apartment in old town Guarda. Dog friendly! AC in every room so heating is no issue during winter :) Large kitchen to cook in.
The house was spacious, very comfortable and well equipped. Our welcome was excellent and the location absolutely stunning and so peaceful. The facilities were also ideal for our dog. really wished we could have stayed longer.
Waking up with the sun and the sounds of nature and going to sleep with a sky full of stars was simply unbelievable. We stayed next to the river which painted the perfect canvas from our bedroom door.
The staff is so nice and was really helpful with every question that surfaced during our stay.
The animal presence (3 dogs and 2 cats) was just delightfull and added to the overall experience of the journey.
