The home was clean and cozy. There was a creek running nearby and a large garden for the perfect location to relax.
The hosts were in contact with me to make sure everything was in order. They even offered a late check out so that we were not rushed to leave.
It was cold, and we went through a lot of wood for the fireplace (probably more than normal because I get cold easily). When I asked the host where I could buy more, she had organized a truck to deliver a load full by the afternoon. Exceptional service and very thoughtful.
Will definitely stay there again.

Pet friendly and squeaky clean. Their tag is a piece of paradise and we couldn't agree more. We went to Thames to have a quiet break and we had that in Sunset motel.
Views over Thames were fantastic, especially waking up in the morning from the upstairs bedroom.
Location is great if you're planning to do the Pinnacles walk, or any walks in the Coromandel Forest.

It is such a special location sitting up above the town and looking across to the bay, very special. Our hosts were lovely and Mia their dog is a very welcoming addition, she is a lovely gentle dog. It is great to feel relaxed, comfortable and at home when travelling and Fantail Hill does this
Quiet location but walking distance to restaurants etc. Very well presented, spotlessly clean with small outside deck area backing onto gardens and stream. Pet friendly, owners super friendly will definitely return and thoroughly recommend.
Clean and comfortable. Lovely renovated unit with lots of space. With views of the sea and the sunsets, it is a great location. Is pet friendly, so we were very happy to be able to bring our little dog with us. Contactless check-in and check-out is also a bonus - and super easy.
The breakfast was good...and loved the thick slice bread. The hospitality was great and loved the hot spa too. Also the space was so pet friendly and our pooch didn't want to leave and got so comfortable. The views from the place was majestic and the room was well-appointed and spacious too. Loved meeting the owners and hearing about the aviation decor and the back-stories. Nice and comfy atmosphere in the home. Great hidden location.
