We absolutely loved this cabin. It’s small but very cosy and really well designed and equipped. Also very clean. The BBQ was excellent and we sat out listening to the birds during the day and looking at the stars at night. It was so peaceful. The view was lovely.

The Whistling Frog Resort is a 5-minute drive from McLean Falls, Cathedral Caves and Tautuku Beach. It is a 25-minute drive from Owaka and an 80-minute drive from Invercargill.

All rooms are heated with a carpeted floor. Some rooms have a fireplace and a private patio. Some room types have a fully equipped kitchen and a lounge area with a flat-screen TV and DVD player.

Accommodation and location were brilliant. Facilities were very clean, and the staff were helpful. Beautiful part of the world to stay and would thoroughly recommend. We will definitely come back for another visit.
