With mountain views, Benger Garden Chalets is located in Millers Flat and has a restaurant, room service, snack bar, garden, terrace and barbecue. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Most comfortable sleep since leaving home. Super supportive but not hard beds . Real quilt not poly, giving warmth and weight. Chalet is fitted for wheelchair access, so bathroom was a spacious well fitted room with a curtained shower area, good water pressure. Whole property was spotlessly clean. Fitted with smaĺl kitchenette which we didn't use, so can't comment on it. Welcoming hosts. Breakfast included in the Cafe next door meant full choice from menu and real coffee. Parking right at door.

We have stayed in hotels and vacation rentals all over the world and we found the best hostess and hospitality at Blue Skies. Before we even arrived, we got an email saying the room was ready early and to check in whenever we liked. Upon arrival, there were all sorts of goodies and breakfast items waiting for us. When we met Gerry, one of the first things she offered was to do laundry for us. Talk about going above and beyond. There were little personalized notes all over the room. She gave us ideas on places to go and places to eat. When we returned late from Milford Sound our laundry was folded and waiting for us. I promise you will not find a better hostess anywhere. I try to rate all the places we stay and most usually have good scores, but Blue Skies deserves better. At least a 12 out of 10 and a 20 for our hostess Gerry. You will not regret staying here.

This charming old mansion is set in the countryside a few kilometers from Balclutha town with very accommodating hosts. It has a beautiful garden and is in really peaceful surroundings. We had a wonderful relaxing time there. The free breakfast was stunning, including juice, a wide range of cereal choices, home made white bread and home made fruit loaf. A wide choice of spreads included home made apricot jam and marmalade. A high end coffee machine was easy to use and produced lovely coffee. There were free drinks (including beer) in the communal refrigerator,

Tui2 Macandrew Bay features sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Dunedin, 11 km from Toitu Otago Settlers Museum. The air-conditioned accommodation is 12 km from Taieri Gorge Railway. Guests can use the sauna and the hot tub, or enjoy mountain views. We had an excellent stay here. The host was very friendly.

Mike & Jenny's Kaka Point Accommodation offers guests a living room fitted with a flat-screen TV. Your room will have a view of the sea or garden. There is also BBQ facilities to enjoy your meal whilst admiring the scenery. Jenny arranged an alternative accomodation for us because of a technical problem with our originally booked accomodation. This was absolutely great, instead of cancelling finding a perfect alternative for us. Also got excellent recommendations for places to see.
