We had an amazing stay at the beautiful cottage. Everything was perfect! Starting from the room very cozy and elegant, to the beautiful garden and delicious breakfast. The family is truly amazing. Dhanush helped us a lot and gave us many useful information. The cottage is in a very convenient location, walking distance to the main area of Ella, yet it is very quiet and enjoyable. Walking to the main central area of Ella is via a short cut thru the train tracks. Am experience one should not missed. Lovely views and quiet area. Suited for adventure walkers who doesn’t mind the uphill. Otherwise, a fast tuktuk ride can take you to the accomodation within about 10 minutes. This can also be organised with the owner should you wish. Traditional breakfast was fab ! Staff were lovely. The Pekoe trail is worth a try and can easily be accessed without a need for a walking guide.

Brilliant location just a 10 mins walk away from the hustle of Ella town along the railway track. The bed was comfortable. The balcony was great. A wonderful view of Ella rock every morning at sunrise. I also used the fridge and kettle for my own tea. The staff were all very kind and helpful. I would 100% stay here again.

A real special place. The right place to relax, meditate and connect to nature. There are 3 villas, each stands by itself, privacy is a key here. A walking distance from Ella and Ella train station. When staying you can feel the care and love put in this place. Words can’t describe this place, but if you are around, treat yourself with a stay here. View is awesome. Team has been very kind and friendly. Food was good. Rooms have enough space and balcony with a very nice view.
Although it can be hot in the valley, up at the top where the Hotel is located, you have sun, little wind going and no (!) humidity. Practically no mosquitos.
Very hospitable and helpful team. Since bigger cars cannot reach this mountain top they give you a ride with a small bus or tuk tuk (three wheeler). Price is also very affordable.

There are many many insects around since it is in a hilly region. There is a light for light insects which are plenty so you should know how to use it. Breakfast was also good. We were there for only one night so it was ok.

The location of the hotel is great, close enough to the city but not in the middle of it to be disturbed.
Relatively clean and service staff is good, especially F&B staff.
Housekeeping staff needs training, in fact, all staff would benefit from good training in both technical and service skills. The Check in was smooth and assumed the Owner too got involved
Location is verry good and I recommended to my friends my cousins the place, Foods delicious, and staff very good friendly and always think about us, and find what we need, we dont want to find them, staff always find about us do us everything. I will Recomend Spring Vally for everyone.
The hotel location is extremely beautiful and calm environment with greenery and river next to the hotel. The Food we had was very delicious and affordable.it was pleasant experience for my family
located only a short walk from the station. the guy at the reception tried hard to make sure everything was ok. rooftop was great to hangg out and have some food with a great view of Badulla town and surrounding mountains. had free tea and water which was great.
The location is great next tu bus station so you can lot of options where to go. The place is quiet, we had a room with a balcony and a bathroom, there were also towels. The staff was very very nice and helpful. Breakfast is also included in the price, which is really great and quite large. Definitely recommend.
