This is not really dog friendly place. Your dog can stay in Your room and in the inside shared arreas- only in library. We were not told about it. We were sold drinks and had a seat in the open bar area- clearly our dog with us- and after some time requested to leave the space with the dog and go to the library on request of the manager who is a wrong person in the wrong place and I cannot udneststand who keeps him there as a manager.

The building & grounds were beautiful, the location was wonderful, the staff were lovely and the food was delicious. But best of all, when they say they are dog friendly, they REALLY mean it.

Location fabulous if you like rugged and wild and remote. Lovely gardens. Hotel staff were very caring and the hotel beautifully furnished, particularly the downstairs lounge and dining room. Breakfast and evening meal exceptional. Food wonderful. A harpist played in the dining room in the evening. Dog friendly.

Great location, right in the centre of the village. Beautiful restaurants and pubs right on your doorstep. Lovely views of the harbour from the living room and great outside patio. The place was immaculate and a great bonus that we could bring our dog. Would not have had the opportunity to stay otherwise.

Easy check in - keys in lockbox Everything you could need or think of for a stay was included at the cottage. We don't have young kids, but lots of baby equipment. Very close to Dogs Bay. Great location. Secluded, peaceful and private. Kitchen was equiped with everything you could need, including condiments. Master bed was very comfortable. Bonus it's dog friendly.

Location and gardens perfect. Staff amazing and so helpful particularly Ray. Dinner was delicious as was breakfast. Loved the room as it was really comfortable and spacious. Dining room was lovely with super waiters. Sitting outdoors enjoying a cold drink was bliss with the view of the sea and the surrounding gardens. Saw other residents with their dogs who were as welcome as the guests...loved the towels that were left out to dry the wet pooch's if necessary..great touch.

The setting is wonderful as the whole house is nested into a crown of trees, which makes this place very special and a haven of peace despite being a lively place. The house is very quiet and roomy and the rooms are really pleasant. Being a pet friendly hotel, I never felt out of place with my dog despite its size. We were provided with a booklet with a few local walks, which are worth exploring.
