The breakfast was ok except the staff never asked me if I enjoyed it or even offer me any toast even though the asked other guests and the muffin with the eggs Benedict was rock hard almost inedible!

It was a perfect dog friendly stay. My dog was in an agility competition over the weekend and we stayed here. We ate at the Dragon which was also fantastic. It was so dog friendly you felt you could actually relax with your fur baby! The little dog biscuits, blanket and bowl in the room was a lovely touch.
Location was perfect. Even though they had no air-conditioning it was lovely to have the fan. The surprise with the lovely trail of the canal to see all the narrow boats. The restaurant was a very pleasant surprise with excellent food. Great stay!
We booked a 1-bed cottage and a double room. The cottage was fantastic and well furnished as was the double bedroom. Some nice touches like tea tray and complimentary drinks voucher. Very comfortable beds and exceptionally clean. Cottage was dog friendly and treats and blankets were left for the dogs. Nice little log burner although it wasn't cold enough to need to light it. We were allowed to stay in the cottage until midday which was very useful.
