On the farm itself, chickens and cockerels roam freely. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by Alicia and treated to a delicious loaf of homemade bread and jam - a personal touch that made my stay feel extra special. Butter, milk, tea and coffee was also provided. The Stable is spotlessly clean, well furnished, insulated and decorated - it could hardly be more cosy! Alicia and Christopher were the perfect hosts, courteous, warm and polite, ensuring that my stay was as comfortable as possible.

Loved the space, the long burner, very comfortable and even nicer than the photos! The location was fantastic on a farm with chickens and lambs! We did a lovely walk across the fields and woodland to Usk (just under 3 miles). The owners were so welcoming and friendly and even baked us fresh bread! Can’t recommend enough.

2nd time of staying in Earls Cottage and it still looks brand new. The level of comfort and cleanliness is top notch. Usk has plenty of pubs and coffee shops. Having 2 keys is useful as we shared the property with my adult son and his girlfriend, it meant we could go and do our own things.
