loved our little cottage, just for us, this was a real plus. the heating was on, straight into the warm.
All of the staff, all of them were fantastic.
Really nice thoughtful details like having milk and juice in the fridge on arrival. Nice touch.
Breakfast, brilliant. Dinner - brilliant (although perhaps tell us what isn't available on the menu from the off, not as we order the things you don't have)

This little hut exceeded my expectations. We came to celebrate my partners birthday and we absolutely loved it! The hut itself is so cute and cosy, the views are unbelievable, it's so secluded and peaceful. Also, having the field to go for a nice walk with the dogs was the cherry on top! We can't wait to come back :)

We were upgraded to a larger room which was fantastic and very much appreciated after travelling for several weeks.
The room was well decorated.
The hotel is close to the city centre and shopping centre.
The bathroom is large and has a wonderful walk in shower.

Location was excellent, 10 minutes from Oulton park, plenty of parking and right next to a petrol station. Room was fine, clean, basic, nice tea facilities, exactly what I expect for the price, no issue there. Staff were friendly. There is a nice balcony for guests and a pub garden.
Service was lovely, decor was traditional yet quirky and stylish. Hallie in particular was a delight. She was on the breakfast shift and provided outstanding service despite clearly working alone. Delicious espresso martini and coffees! Dog friendly, staff were lovely, food was great and it had a great atmosphere even on a Tuesday night!
The local area was bustling (again on a Tuesday/Wednesday) and the high street is lined with independent shops and cafes.
Dog friendly. Will definitely come again.
The welcome and helpful staff especially as I have a disability and a service dog. There is dog walking nearby but still in the center of the town which was not just useful but very picturesque.
We very much enjoyed our stay at Chirk Cottage. Catherine met us personally upon arrival and showed us the cottage. Our daughter very much enjoyed playing with the puppies and dogs at the property and made good use of the trampoline. Wonderful experience when traveling with kids and looking for a relaxing stay and good sleep (super-comfy beds!).
