Brilliant place to stay! This was our second time staying, first in 'Wee Shot' and this time in 'Half Pint'. Both are clean cozy and comfortable with everything you need. We especially liked the log burners! Lovely, friendly hosts and a great location to explore Tain and further afield in the Highlands. The building is very beautiful, authentic castle atmosphere. The main stairs and the lobby are very nice. The tartan carpet we loved it. The cat of the castle “Lochy” 😻.
Great location in the town. Only a couple of minutes from a tesco store and two petrol stations close by. (Tesco and Asda). Several establishments close by for evening meals. The property was clean, the rooms large and well equipped. Private car park with plenty of space. Large choice of breakfast items (including veggie options) which we ordered the night before. Small library with some local books and general reading.Very welcoming and great value.

Suki is a cozy and peaceful place to be, it has everything you need for your self catering holiday. It was a lovely touch to have tea, coffee and some shortbread waiting for us. There are some great walks locally so Angus our dog loved the holiday too.
