Squirrel Barn is a fun and eccentric place which genuinely caters to the whole family (and more!). It is a beautiful old building filled with anything and everything you could think of, with wonderful little touches and a really warm feeling. We were in the area to visit Alton Towers and to be honest we had just as much fun at Squirrel Barn! The owners are fantastic - friendly, accommodating and excellent at contact. The flat is spacious, clean and comfortable. Well equipped with everything one might need. We only stayed one night when visiting Alton Towers but Peggy was a lovely host, she left the lights on for us in the evening and chocolates for the kids. Would definitely be happy to stay there again another time.

Elaine was an exceptional host. There was a separate entrance into the Coach House. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was really good with a range of cereals, fruit, yoghurt and a choice of cooked breakfast.

Handy apartment for Stafford Showground, which allows dogs, Very clean, warm, everything that we needed was provided, we had our dogs with us so good access to garden a bonus, in better weather I could imagine sitting with doors open, or even outside. Choice of bath or shower was great. Used the local fish & chip shop around the corner, good, there’s also a Co-op close by. Would return.
Clean, nice apartment, we have used before and have booked again for the future, really suits our needs and the location is brilliant for Stafford Showground, easy parking and not far form shops and restaurants, excellent property with a well fenced safe garden for dogs or children. Everything we needed in the kitchen, and bedroom. nice and bright with towels in the bathroom, TV's in bedroom and lounge. Wifi, and nice warm and cosy apartment.
Jon was so helpful, they even fixed my friends no plate for her. Really close to a fantastic pub with amazing food, and to Trentham Gardens. The apartment, pub and Trentham was really dog friendly too.
The flat and garden were well equipped. Good access to shops and petrol station not far. Dogs loved the garden for a run around. Good for a short stay. Host was kind enough to refund and apologetic as we left early due to an altercation with a neighbour, which upset my elderly mum.
