Right in the centre of quaint St Albans, half an hour away from London. Beautiful old building with quirky rooms/layout. Breakfast was good there's a big choice of food. The room was very clean and the bathroom was nice and big. Really glad I booked this (oppose to a generic Travel Lodge or Premier inn which would have cost exactly the same without the breakfast). Private parking was great too.

We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation! The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The room was part of their home, and it truly felt like a home away from home. Despite being so welcoming, they respected our privacy throughout our stay. We had access to their kitchen and washer, which made our stay even more comfortable. The environment was spotlessly clean and fresh, and the TV had a fantastic selection of channels.
The location was also very convenient, with a Tesco Express just a 5-minute walk away, and several great food options like Chinese, Indian, and a kebab shop just a few doors down. Overall, a perfect place to stay, and we highly recommend it!

We truly enjoyed our stay! The location is great: shops and restaurants are just outside! We were there to ski and the snow centre is 5 mins drive. The parking was arranged by lovely and very helpful Rasika! It’s a true home away with everything you need!

Everything about the stay was very good, The food, the room and the staff could not be faulted
Offering a variety of animal-adapted amenities, these properties provide a pet-friendly stay. Services may include sitting services, specialized bedding and dog walking. Some hotels even offer quirky perks like a gourmet room service menu for pets, as well as catnip and scratch poles.
Ideal location for visiting the cathedral and historic centre. Also the extensive park perfect for relaxing and walking the dog.
Quaint old building. Visitors lounge with bookshelves.
Everything was good, the breakfast, the staff and the room. The hotel location is perfect with free parking and facilities close to the hotel such us Petrol station, car wash, supermarket, restaurants and shopping stores
This is a beautiful old inn with loads of character. It's even a bit haunted :) Friendly staff served us nightcaps as they were closing the bar. The room was toasty warm for such an old building, there was no draft at all. They are dog friendly - a small extra fee presumably because of the potential for more mess, which I was happy to pay.
The cottage is in a great location. Close to motorways and a railway station. It is well equipped with everything you would need such as kitchen equipments, iron, microwave, hairdryer, cleaning materials etc.
Nice cosy and homely feeling. We stayed at Christmas time and we had Christmas decorations up, which was a lovely touch.
Dog friendly and there is a big park and dog walks right opposite the property.
We had a great stay.
The hotel was lovely and modern. Location was ok but a little remote. Cleanliness was good in most places although the carpet in the room had wear and tear. The television was of a good size but channels were hard to get a signal for. I didn't have the breakfast as I didn't like the sound of the 'bap' available.
I would stay here again however as I felt the bed and room overall were of a high standard.
