Excellent location being an easy stroll onto town with its good selection of restaurants. We were staying primarily to visit IWM Duxford, around 30 minutes drive.
Staff very helpful and friendly. Very good check in process.
Breakfast was very good and cooked to order rather than buffet style.

This is a gorgeous place to stay, full of character and charm and lots of little details , that shows care and attention has been taken.
The food is great - I had a delicious meal and breakfast.
But the staff are incredible! I had ordered a couple of parcels for work and thought I had put the right address down for delivery to the Packhorse. Yep, I messed up and the delivery went to somewhere else! Chris actually went and retrieved the parcels himself for me!! Outstanding customer service - a massive thankyou to him and Gabby for helping me out 👏👏👏

Was able to get a room at short notice and for a sensible price. I honestly can’t think of anything else positive to say. It wasn’t noisy and they had a fridge in the room. The bed was clean, but that should be a given, not a bonus.

In a quiet village location - a private house with the three first floor bedrooms turned into the rooms to let. Kettle and tea & coffee making facility in the room. A small fridge at the end of the corridor with milk, and with cereal packets and pot noodles freely available. Far more than I had expected. Wi-Fi but no TV for those expecting one (I wasn’t). Plenty of free parking space on the street behind the house.

Lovely location opposite a village Green with walks along a river. The bar and restaurant are welcoming and comfortable. The dog friendly bedrooms are in an extension, which requires a very short walk outside to get to the main building. The room was comfortable with a super king size bed and nice shower room.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect - a pretty village, with beautiful scenery all around.

Super dog friendly, excellent greeting on arrival and friendly staff, room was clean including bedding etc and our room even had a futon for the dog to lie on! Bar and outside area is nice.
Absolutely stunning location. Room was a good size with large en suite. Quality bedding, refreshments and toiletries. Large, white, soft towels. Lovely bed and blanket supplied for our dog along with some quality treats. Excellent food served in the pub
