We loved everything about the log cabin it was absolutely beautiful, having the grass part outside the cabin for the kids to play was fantastic we bought the kids a paddling pool to play in we then explored the river and surrounding woodlands.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful, set right on the river with a brilliant outdoor space. Lovely and clean. The bed was very comfortable, I am usually a poor sleeper but we had a great night's sleep while we were there. We ventured into the centre and did alot of walking in the area and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Everywhere dog friendly. We would definetly return and recommend!

The cabin is absolutely beautiful, it's built to a high standard with underfloor heating, log burner and very spacious. This was a workcation for me so I needed greta WiFi and I got great wifi! The views from the patio across the lawn to the river were a bonus and definitely made my morning coffee more enjoyable.

Cabins are beautiful, location great. We had a large area of grass at the back for our wee dog and looked right onto the river. On site cafe was amazing and so cheap!

We liked the location of the hotel, the friendly staff and that they welcome dogs. The new owners are working really hard on this old pub so go bearing this in mind - the staff work really hard. The bedrooms are comfortable and clean, and the bed linen is fresh and spotless - the full breakfast is delicious too!

Lovely cabin, clean and comfortable. Nice comfortable bed and pillows. Dog friendly. Plenty of cooking equipment but could do with a tea pot. Needed more black rubbish bags as there was only the one in the bin.

From the moment we entered the Crown Hotel to meet our friends Chris and Janice we were made to feel so so welcome…Everyone was very friendly (staff and locals) and it had a homely feel… Even “Peggy” our cockapoo was given the VIP treatment ( sausages and ham treats) and may have a new boyfriend in “Boris” the resident dog… A special mention must go out to Dave the barman.. a very funny man and probably the “Best barman” in Scotland 😉. Thank you all for making our stay so memorable.
