Good location. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. It was quiet and private. Very clean and comfortable all round. Clare was a great host with incredible communication skills. She was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Staff was very welcoming and professional. Room was clean and everything we needed. Ample free safe parking. The trout on the menu is very good. Could do with more attention to vegetarian dishes.

The room was quite large and the bed was extremely comfortable with a big plump duvet. Reception was efficient and friendly. The room was great value. I didn't try the breakfast or the restaurant/bar but it looked lively. Free car park directly opposite.
This quiet licensed guest house is situated in the hamlet of Kirtlebridge. Located off the M74 motorway, it is 6 miles from Gretna Green and 9 miles from Lockerbie. There is a residents bar.
With a beautiful rural setting in the spectacular Scottish countryside, this small, family-run hotel is halfway between Lockerbie and Gretna Green, just off the A74(M).

Beautifully decorated and had everything you would need
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
We had all three cabins for 13 of us with ages ranging from a 6 year old to 66 year old. Cabins really spacious and clean, we all met in one and were able to cook in one kitchen without any problem. Both of the older vacationers were disabled but that wasn't an issue as it catered to their needs. Had a lovely area for the kids to play whilst they could watch from the patio area
Breakfast was absolutely fab. good choice and the children were well catered for. Host was really helpful and approachable and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. We had the family room with a sofa bed. I can't believe how comfy the sofabed was
Stunning log cabins we had the two smaller log cabins for our family and had the best 3 days over Christmas, they thought of everything including the Christmas tree! We had everything we needed to cook a Xmas dinner for 8 of us, it was perfect. Danielle and her dad was on the ball with any of my queries too. First Xmas away from home and we loved it!
We stayed in the willow cabin which had an en-suite. The cabin was just spot on. Tvs in both bedrooms and living were all smart tvs. The wifi was good. Underfloor heating was great. Beds were comfy. Kitchen had all utensils that we needed. It was kitted out for babies/toddlers as had travel cot and high chair.
what a lovely log cabin , nice and big for a
family of four , langholm is a lovely
quiet place and
quite central to get to anywhere but be
prepared to drive a lot .
the Buddhist temple is a must see
The staff are so friendly and welcoming, always coming for a chat to check everything is OK. Food is lovely in the restaurant, we had family (who live local) who said the haggis balls was fantastic. Bed linen was clean and towels was changed daily including tea/coffee & milk replenished.
