We had a gorgeous and spacious room in this beautiful old building. Our dog was not only tolerated, but very welcome and loved running around in the huge garden. Nicola was a great host and even made us a gluten- and dairy-free cake, making an educated guess about my girlfriends dietary restrictions. The „cold breakfast“ was amazing: fresh local fruits, homemade treats, fresh juice, and coffee. We felt so at home and would definitely come back again!

The farm animals were so cute. Everything was very clean and cosy. The hot tub was great too. Was really unique and all the decorations felt so homely. Towels provided, gas heater, all plates, pots pans and cutlery. Useful notes on shops, pubs and restaurants nearby.

Rachel was waiting for our arrival and showed us around, giving us all the info we needed. We had a Large family room with private bathroom, and could use the kitchen to make drinks anytime. Plenty of off road parking, large guest lounge with sofas and tv went down well with my 8yr old. We had to leave before breakfast was normally served but Rachel had put the breakfast items out so we could help ourselves.

It was an exceptional place to stay. A huge room and bathroom, and beautiful grounds to wander around. And very dog friendly too. The room decor was stunning. We felt like we were royalty! The breakfast of cereal and fruit in my room suited me well and made for a very relaxing start to the day. It was very kind of the host to make a dairy free cake for me and very much appreciated. It was on a quiet road with doggie walks along the Mortimer Way straight from the door.

It was a very friendly atmosphere and I was made to feel welcome as was my dog. It was very nice to find an ‘pet friendly’ establishment that does not charge extra for pet’s stay. It is also getting getting increasingly rare to find and establishment that includes breakfast in their booking price.
