The location was central to the middle of Kelso and in easy reach of places of interest and also restaurants / cafe's/ bars and shops. the free car park straight over the road is ideal too as too was the lovely smell from the bakery below. One bonus is that pets are allowed so a family like mine whom include a dog as part of the family this is a very bonus point.
Our room was lovely- bed was very comfortable and the menu in room enticed us to head downstairs for dinner. The food was phenomenal, and we loved the bonus touch of it being a pet-friendly pub (a rarity in Canada) and being able to see locals and their lovely dogs. Unfortunately we missed out on breakfast both mornings due to adjusting to time change (our fault not the hotel's, the window of time was generous, we just woke up closer to lunch), but I trust it was delicious.

Bfast was hit and miss, Friday's was beautiful, well presented and order taken at the table along with great service from the Duty Receptionist, Saturday was hit and miss and done Buffet Style (disappointed as was looking forward to Eggs Benedict again)
Large bathroom, bath with shower over and Room situated on top floor (2 flights of stairs up and no lift), large room with good sized bed along with tea and coffee making facilities.
Beautiful location. The hotel was incredibly pet friendly and our 2 dogs had the most incredible time. The staff were all so warm and attentive. The room was a great size with excellent facilities, including beds and bowls for the dogs. One of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had in terms of quality and selection. Cannot wait to visit again.

It was the most beautiful location, the surrounding area and grounds were stunning for the photographs.
We chose to stay over as it was easier.
The building is simply stunning and so well preserved.
Also made a lovely change that hotel actually has the heating turned on in the room but had fans in the room too if required.
It is dog friendly so we will definitely be back.
Staff were incredibly friendly too, nothing was too much trouble.
Breakfast was good too, great choice.
Location, Graham & Hillary were top-class hosts. Breakfast was excellent, and food was all locally sourced where possible. Dog friendly, too, so top marks to the Bellevue Guest House
