The lodge was a fantastic stop off on the journey down from the Highlands! Really easy to find and great comms from the owners. The place itself was immaculate, so clean and fresh!

The staff were lovely. The hotel was very dog friendly and we were able to eat in the dining area of the bar. It was a good stop off to break up our journey north. Plenty of parking space.

Christine &Tony were lovely, friendly and perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble they also accommodated our little dog.The room was great! It was clean and so comfortable, just perfect for the 2 of us. We will definitely stay again.
It was lovely. We initially chose it as an overnight stay as it was dog friendly but sadly we lost our dog before our stay.

Spacious accommodation, lovely and clean and well maintained. Nice quiet area. Dog friendly - towels, treats and poo bags provided for them, which is very thoughtful. If visiting the area again, we will definitely look at booking this lovely bungalow.
1) superb location right by train station and the blacksmith forge
2) great room lots of space, incredibly comfy bed and complimentary tea. Ensuite bathroom too.
3) very welcoming and friendly hosts, felt like stepping into someone's home, was really nice. Breakfast was very good and the dog and cat were great.
My girlfriend loved the decorations and aesthetic all around like in the rooms, the clock, the wallpaper and the Christmas lights.
The location to Gretna Green was ideal for us. The house was a nice size and cozy.
The complimentary treats were a nice touch and also the dog box with towels and poo bags was also very considerate and helpful.
