Situated in Dalton in Furness in the Cumbria region, Brown Cow Cottage features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The property is non-smoking and is located 35 km from World of Beatrix Potter.

My partners family live near by so this is very handy for us as we live 180 miles away. this cottage is absolutely amazing. Private car park, quiet location. Joined right onto the pub but cant hear a thing through the wall. We love eating next door as the food is incredible. There is a Co-op near by if your need to get anything for your fully kitted out kitchen with all pots and pans etc. 2 bathrooms were very clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable! Little garden at the back for my dog was a added bonus. We will definitely be planning to use this cottage again in the future! But next time for more than one night. When we went in we were actually in shock how nice it was. Very happy Many thanks

Cottage was great very clean and comfortable. There is a lovely pub next door, we ordered food which they brought to the cottage - we had two dogs with us so it was easier to eat at the cottage although if the weather had been better there was a really lovely seating area outside the pub. Great location.to get to the beach which our dogs loved. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back for another stay.

The apartment was lovely and decorated nicely throughout. we particularly liked the open plan design. We appreciated that we could book on our pet for an additional cost. The fact that there was a washing machine and tumble dryer was a great bonus and the apartment itself is located within a very short walking distance to local amenities. The owner was very accommodating when issues did arise and very responsive to messages.

Clean, homely and modern. Everything you needed was there. The staff were friendly and amazing and catered for all dietary requirements. It may be a small country pub but their vegetarian selection was far better than some restaurants in a town. Their Friday night burger club was fantastic with a good selection of beers and spirits! A very peaceful location. We would highly recommend the Black Dog to stay at.

Great, characterful place to stay for family + dog. Ideal little grassed space with table out the back to sit and for the dog to relax. Clean, modern sleeping spaces with great shower and good heating. It had everything you could want on a stay away. Location was great and Dalton has some easy to walk to takeaways and eat out places from The Brown Cow.

The property was was lovely inside. It was clean and comfortable and the garden was ideal for us and the dogs to sit outside in the sunshine. Location was good, as we were visiting family in the Barrow area, it was a quiet location but also nice that we could walk to local shops and pubs.

It was our stop from busy day in Alton Towers heading back to Aberdeen. Was expecting just a average place but this place was amazing. Warm welcome from time of arrival, nice cold pint in the evening. Very comfortable and clean rooms supplied with coffee machine and fresh water. Breakfast in the morning was very tasty and individually prepared. Really nice people working there. Place in very quiet location. Overall great experience.
