The location was very remote and beautiful. We really enjoyed being away from everyone and the city. The bed was super comfortable and warm. The bathroom was surprisingly big for the size of the cabin. No cons whatsoever. The real food cafe was a highlight of the night. 10/10 loved.

Beautiful old place in a fabulous location! We enjoyed our meals and meeting some of the local people and dogs. The apartment we were in was simple but very adequate. Not a fancy place but very comfortable. We had a nice walk to Loch Awe, visited Inveraray, the castle and had a great lunch. We enjoyed our stay and recommend highly.

Location is stunning, the overall atmosphere of the lodge is nostalgic and truly Scottish with the furniture and original clan colours carpet and the fireplaces and bookshelves. Rooms spacious, comfy beds, good selection of teas (downstairs, not in the room), nice selection for breakfast. The staff were lovely and very helpful :)

Very remote and away from everything- wifi only in the bar which if you really want to escape is great. We knew this before the trip and it was actually quite refreshing. Sarah the host was lovely and works so hard. Very accommodating and helpful. Everyone was super friendly and in the evenings locals and visitors would all converge in the bar. Lovely food too. Very dog friendly. Stunning part of the world.

Quiet and beautiful location on the side of the Loch,.ideally situated for days out to Oban, Inveraray and surrounding area . A misunderstanding re bringing the dogs with us, the staff were extremely helpful and moved us into a more suitable self catering lodge. Everything we needed, it was cosy and comfortable, water was toasty hot.
