I enjoyed my stay. I received a very warm and friendly welcome and everything was handled smoothly and professionally. The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. I wasn't able to make the most of the breakfast as I had an early start the following day. However, I had a meal in the evening after I arrived which was excellent. I would recommend The Potters Arms as a nice stopover or base for exploring this part of Buckinghamshire. We will certainly keep this in mind for future visits to England.

Beautiful surroundings with a nice little village/town very close by for food & drinks. We had our dog stay with us & the hotel provided us with a luxury dog bed, blanket & bowls for her at an extra cost of £30.

We were looking for a pet friendly hotel near Rickmansworth / Watford and this location was ideal - it is set in spacious grounds which meant we could take the dog for a long walk through the woods - there was even a 'Pet Wash' station outside the restaurant in the main building. The pool was great, better than the average hotel swimming pool.

Everything was considered. Lovely detail. Complimentry ‘Pantry’ with coffee and pastries in addition to tea/coffee in room. Fabulous walks. Very dog friendly but rooms were still exceptionally clean. Busy hotel on a Saturday night but still so quiet and peaceful. Room service prompt even though there was a big event, and food hot. Will return!

The location and the main building were fantastic. The lower floor rooms with a view had a small balcony with a stunning view across the valley and the grounds. It was great that the hotel is dog friendly with a payment of £30.00 per stay.
