The Jodrell Luxury Suites, hotel in Chapel en le Frith

Set in Whaley Bridge, the recently renovated The Jodrell Luxury Suites offers accommodation 12 km from Buxton Opera House and 24 km from Capesthorne Hall.

As soon as we opened the door to our apartment we entered a cosy, inviting place which exceeded our expectations, it smelt so clean and fresh and is beautifully decorated with all the home comforts you’d expect. Had a problem with the key code on arrival but somebody came round within 5 minutes to sort it out. Great location for local attractions such as Buxton and Chatsworth House, Whaley Bridge is a busy village with all the conveniences you need. The apartments are right next to the train station but didn’t bother us, it added to the charm of the place (you can get the train to Buxton or Manchester)

The private location was perfect for us as we have an anxious dog who barks a lot. Having two pubs in walking distance was great and it’s a really good base for walking. The hosts let us book an extra night easily. The yurt was really clean with everything you need. Bed was so comfy!

They are dog friendly; dinner was delicious and very reasonably priced; attentive staff; gorgeous old-english building; friendly owner; clean room; excellent value for money for the location. Perfect place as a base to explore the peaks. Bakewell is only a ~30 minute drive, for example. If you have a dog, there is a lovely park super close by.
