As soon as we opened the door to our apartment we entered a cosy, inviting place which exceeded our expectations, it smelt so clean and fresh and is beautifully decorated with all the home comforts you’d expect. Had a problem with the key code on arrival but somebody came round within 5 minutes to sort it out. Great location for local attractions such as Buxton and Chatsworth House, Whaley Bridge is a busy village with all the conveniences you need. The apartments are right next to the train station but didn’t bother us, it added to the charm of the place (you can get the train to Buxton or Manchester)

The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very dog friendly and close to an excellent park for dog walking We would visit again. Car parking good.
Reasonable cost for a nights stay. Accessible for the national park and dog friendly. Lovely little Park to walk the dogs within 100m. Good evening meal.
The private location was perfect for us as we have an anxious dog who barks a lot. Having two pubs in walking distance was great and it’s a really good base for walking. The hosts let us book an extra night easily.
The yurt was really clean with everything you need.
Bed was so comfy!
Lovely location with stunning views. Everything you could possibly need was provided (tea, coffee, sugar, stake to attach the dogs to and much more). Nice touch with the water and beer on arrival. Really nice pub within walking distance.
They are dog friendly; dinner was delicious and very reasonably priced; attentive staff; gorgeous old-english building; friendly owner; clean room; excellent value for money for the location.
Perfect place as a base to explore the peaks. Bakewell is only a ~30 minute drive, for example.
If you have a dog, there is a lovely park super close by.
We enjoyed being away from the town and city. The countryside was beautiful. The cottage was immaculate and cosy. It was very well equipped. Loved that it was dog friendly.
