Hazel met us with the key and showed us to the caravan. She pointed out all of the nature routes to take and where the amenities were. She noticed I had small children and came to the caravan with freshly cleaned train tracks and toys for my children, absolutely beautiful gesture.
The caravan decking was all fenced in which was very appreciated as the kids could be outside but not too far while they're small (be fab for dogs too)
The caravan was clean, warm and very comfortable too.

Close to the beach and nice safe walks with our dog.
Static caravan was very spacious with all mod cons especially decent TV and dishwasher. Barbeque was a decent type and a decent veranda to sit out on the benches provided

we have stayed at stonefield before.the location is excellent,no light polution great for stargazing, you can hear the owls hunting at night and the golden eagles are not shy as we had one in the garden,it is a working farm but they do not use machinery, the farming is very enviromental, the owner and workers are so friendly,it really suits a digital detox as there is no wifi(which nowadays we ALL need a digital detox)the walks with the dog are brilliant, thanks to all at stonefield we will go back without a doubt
Beautiful Location, the lodge was very cozy, very welcoming at the Coylett Inn where Sandra serves lovely food and drink, and was very accommodating for the dogs too
Great location for walking/hiking. Well located for visiting Loch lomond, Inverary Castle and the botanic Gardens. Fuel station not too far away and a post office/cafe/shop a short drive in Strachar. The whistlefield inn next door offers lovely food and drinks, reasonably priced too and welcoming staff, they allow dogs so handy for us.
Fantastic location and very dog friendly. Hosts were brilliant and we cannot thank them enough for allowing us to amend the dates of the booking at such short notice. Lodge was very clean and had everything we needed.
warm, cosy and secluded, location ideal, having a little garden space perfect for the dog.The bird feeder placed outside main window was amazing so many birds to watch with supplied feed was brilliant. The mattress was so comfy we slept brilliantly. The walk from the lodge was great , can’t fault anything
