Proper country pub in a great location (very picturesque and peaceful) with comfortable rooms - not TOO posh but with everything necessary for a short stay, excellent food and a brilliant hostess, host and staff. Apparently it's a community-owned pub and that shines through. Locals obviously love the place and the people who run it. Very friendly place.

Lovely little place very comfortable and peaceful, dog friendly very clean. I couldn’t stay for breakfast due to work commitments but a packed lunch was given everyday instead:) very pleased will stay again!

Nice location, property was very clean modern and spacious.
Beautiful building, spacious and a great layout. Really well equipped kitchen, lots of utensils that made cooking great. Nice quiet village location. The rear garden is enclosed and great for dogs as well as being a fantastic sun trap to enjoy a glass of wine in at the end of a hard day's walking! We thought it was great value for money and we'd highly recommend it, I don't think the pictures do the property justice!

The room was spacious, clean and really comfortable. We had our dog with us and it was perfectly placed fairly near the exit without too many stairs. The staff were consistently friendly, helpful and super nice to the dog! The evening meal and breakfast were both excellent.The location is superb and we would definitely stay here again.

There where so many things to like. The location and there was lots of really sweet extra's like teabags, coffee pods, a bottle of milk and a bottle of Prosecco on arrival.
The lovely dressing gowns, quality soaps and shampoo's. Scatter cushions with funny quotes. It was just lovely.
Easy to manage elderly parents, young nephew and a dog. The house had a lot of different needs and met them all.
We received a very warm welcome from Clare and Matt and they were very helpful throughout our stay. Location is perfect, the Falls can be accessed from the bottom of their garden. Our room was sizeable, clean and, importantly in our case, dog friendly. The little touches such as fresh milk in the fridge and home made cookies in the jar didn't go unnoticed. Breakfast was yummy! Would highly recommend!!!
