Martine, the person that helps with the management of the gites was super nice and extremely helpful. We were there for 10 days and we thought there was a washing machine in our house but ours didn't have one, so she was super nice helping us do the laundry. She also made great recommendations for the area and was super nice with us and our kids. Thanks a lot Martine!
The house is really beautiful and big fto fit our family of 7. The castle and the area are very beautiful for long walks, picnics, fishing, and convenient to visit the Loire castles, Tours, etc.

Our third stay in this chateau, so you can guess we like it ! We ate in the restaurant on both evenings, and enjoyed exceptionally good meals with friendly service. Breakfast was slightly disappointing, with empty trays of the two warm items though more was added upon request. For comparison, the hotel we moved on to the following day had an extensive breakfast menu of hot and cold items, and at a lower price - though the décor and grandeur of the chateau's facilities are top class.

The host was very nice, he waited for us to arrive very late at night and showed us the place. The place is large, comfortable sleep 5 people and has a large kitchen. Pets are allowed The host is very friendly.
The location next to the Chateau was stunning. The Gite was immaculate, modern interior and an incredibly comfy bed. It’s built into the rocks so was lovely and cool. We had a personal tour of the chateau by Jane, which was amazing.
Nice location in the neighbourhood of the castle. Luxurieus continental breakfast but most of all: a very nice host who cooks a decent “table d’hôte” accompanied with a lovely local red wine!

The rooms were spacious and clean, bathrooms were lovely! Isabelle has a lovely dining room set in a cave which has a lovely atmosphere. Breakfast was good, we enjoyed the spread of home made jams with croissants and baguette, but it would have been nice to have a few more options like cheese / cold meats / eggs to enjoy with the fresh bread. Overall, a great stop, and it worked well with our small dog too!
