The location was perfect for the town. Car park 100yds away. Owners were at hand on telephone for explaining wifi. in the centre of town. Very comfortable and clean. The town is spectacular so glad we decided to stop on our way to Germany We were able to get NEtflix.

The location is good; you have the whole one main street to walk down in order to get anywhere in town —to any cafe, restaurant, or bar—, ultimately to the glorious cathedral, with its extraordinary statues of saints, patriarchs, prophets, and kings brilliantly individualized, not to mention the vigorous gargoyles of hippopotamus and rhinoceros. This early Gothic cathedral is a jewel. The apartment itself requires negotiating steep, narrow, and spiral steps to get up into. (There is a storeroom halfway up to leave big luggage.) The second bedroom is a further flight of stairs above, only for children, there being no bathroom up there. (The toilet seat was completely detached when we came, but we found this less a problem than it seemed, a touch of medieval ruin.) The bed sagged too much, but the hot water was adequate. We did not try the tv. The landlord did not meet us on arrival, and that was unwelcome. The position of the house housing the medieval apartment brings you close to walking the opposite way to an overlooked monastic church of the first Premonstratensians, worth a look.

The hot tub was lovely but there is no jacuzzi! Your apartment is the right place to stay! But we couldn't turn on the TV! Florian is a super friendly man and he is happy to know that he is already under control, and he would be happy to see him! Very nice
