Great cottage in the middle of the forest. Perfect spot to spend a few nights with friends and explore the Ivalo and Inari area. The kitchen is very well-equipped, the living room is cozy and the bedrooms are comfortable. Bed linen and towels are provided. We had an issue with the sauna and the host was very responsive and made her best to resolve the situation as soon as possible. Highly recommend!

Location: 300 meters from the bus station, close to many outdoor activities companies, supermarket is right across the road, close to the Ivalo river. We had an exceptional week in Norlight Cottages Ivalo. The hosts were great and did everything they could to make our stay as easy, pleasant and convenient as possible. The cottage is brand-new, extremely comfortable and well-equipped, with everything needed (and more!) to enjoy a great, relaxing stay. Special mention to the two saunas (indoor and outdoor) and to the hot tube with an amazing view on the lake! The location and surroundings are also exceptional, in the heart of a peaceful nature. We also took advantage of some other rental services from the cottage (the car and the snowmobile) and, once again, everything was made to make it as easy and pleasant as possible by the hosts. Without any hesitation, I'd warmly recommend Norlight Cottages to anyone who wants to make the most of a holiday in Finnish Lapland!

Very comfortable chalet by the lake. We saw auroras twice! You can walk on the lake anytime at night to admire the night sky. Very convenient for aurora seeing. No need to book tours. Right there are your doorstep. You wont be cold, plenty of heaters and an additional fireplace. You need a car to get there.
