The location was fantastic with a great view from the main window. Parking on-site was a bonus. The owner met us onsite so we had the opportunity to be shown at first hand all the facilities.

The hostel is about a mile from the old town centre, which is an easy walk along the sea front. The town itself is charming a proper costal resort with elegant buildings. There is secure garaged parking which great if you travelling on motorbikes. Staff are very helpful and gave plenty of tips of what to see in the town, which is well worth exploring. Breakfast is good and rooms are simply but suitable.

New and confortable hotel, near the highway Autovia do Cantabrico exit. There's an Eroski supermarket right in front of the hotel, also with a gas station. You can also use the supermarket parking to park your car (the entire Castro Urdiales streets are paying "blue" areas); thus it's a good place for a night stop on your travel to (or from) Europe.
