the hotel is great, exactly like one of the little gems that you dream about finding when you travel. it is a small family hotel, run by the son and the mother. i loved the custom breakfast, i loved the room, everything was very clean and functional. the scenery outside my window was of the romantic backyard & garden with a nut tree that was having gorgeous yellow autumn leaves. it was great, everything about this place was much better than expected.

We reached the hotel late in the evening and the reception had left the keys in the check in box. We rented a car, so the location was easily reachable from Kolon and Duseldorf.
