Julian and Camilla are great, friendly and reliable hosts. The location of Reserva Atashi is a heaven of quietness and peacefulness with great views and beautiful birds surrounding you. The sheltered dining terrace where all meals are served has a great view as well and Julian treated us with fresh and tasty food every day and we could freely pick our meal times. Swimming all by ourselves in the 15-minute downhill-walk river with cristal clear waters was phantastic and one ends up asking oneself why one should go for swimming in the sea instead after all. The cabanas balcony and open bathroom with complete privacy all day long completed a perfect stay with complete detachment from all worries of city life. After 4 nights we felt that our "batteries" were fully recharged. Reserva Atashi is a place that we will remember for a long time as a complete source of energy and happiness! Thank you Julian and Camilla for having provided such a wonderful experience for us! We hope to be back at some point in the future and see you and your family in good spirits! Christian and Oliver

The Colombian breakfast was very good, the room had a nice view, our room had Netflix and excellent Wi-Fi, quiet to work, the staff was incredible, and everyone was friendly, the restaurant has a good menu and they bring the food to your room.

Everything! It's a paradise in the jungle!! Beautiful jungle houses with very comfy beds, the best views over the trees, very helpful and friendly owners. Close to the beaches and national park. The nature is just amazing! You can use the kitchen and cook your own food, order from restaurants or get breakfast from the owners. Its all very clean and comfy and still you are in the middle of the jungle. Perfect to relax or have an adventure in the jungle or both 😀

How to summarize our stay: we extended our stay here in Casa Xue, because we liked it so much! It was so quiet, because you’re surrounded by nothing than nature. Literally! The house is built on a hill so it gives you a feeling of living between the tree crowns ! The window front with the ocean view and the stylish looking room with the king size bed made it easy to feel comfortable! the accommodation only has 5 rooms a common area, a kitchen/ bar and a spa place (massages are very recommendable) which made you feel like your staying in a cozy little house! Also the loving and caring people who work here made us want to stay longer because they made us feel like home! They were even putting our clothes inside the room when the rain started and we weren’t home! How thoughtful! They also prepared us lunch to go and cocktails which were not on the menu:) Side facts: outside bath tub on the balcony, hard mattress ( liked it a lot), net over the jungle to chill in, AC and turbo fan, breakfast in bed option), curry‘s are really good and veggie options are available, Capitán (the neighbors dog) is always ready to play or take some cuddles, overview over the jungle, which is breathtaking. We would love to come back <3

The best part of the place is the amazing view. The ocean breezes keep the balcony and cabana cool if you want to open it up for the fresh air. The way it is positioned you don't get hit by the afternoon sun directly so it's a really nice spot to relax. Additionally, the cabana has a lot of small touches and finishing that make it feel really elegant. They didn't just throw together a cabana but you can see the really put time into making it nice.
