The hotel had a small coffee machine which was available 24/7. The owner or head of the hotel was very helpful. As was the reception staff, particularly the young lady from Venezuela. the hotel cleaning staff were also very helpful. everyone was friendly and happy to help or chat with you. even using a translation option on the front desk computer.

The owner is responsive and glad to help with any questions or needs. Within a 2-minute walk there are small shops for basic things like milk, vegetables, or snacks. Sabaneta is a smaller municipality, so the maximum walk is around 20 minutes with most things closer. If you don't feel like walking there is a white bus for $0.75 that will take you back and forth from the Estrella metro station. From the metro station you can easily get to anyplace in Medellin.
